About Judy L. Hayman
Judy L. Hayman is an family law attorney in the firm's Doylestown office. After a first career in non-profit management spent primarily in art museums, Judy decided to pursue a longstanding interest in studying law. During her law school education, she worked in the Temple Legal Aid office, Philadelphia PA, providing pro bono representation for Philadelphia families with child custody and support issues.
Judy joined the firm in the family law practice in 2005. She focuses her practice on Adoption, Child Custody, Divorce, Equitable Distribution, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Property Settlement Agreements, Protection from Abuse, and Child Support. Judy has been named a Rising Star in the area of family law by her peers and has appeared in Super Lawyers Magazine.
Memberships
A member of the Bucks County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, Judy is affiliated with the Family Law sections of each association. She has provided attorney coaching for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division Mock Trial program and has observed the Central Bucks East Mock Trial Team flourish under the coaching and guidance of the Eastburn and Gray attorneys.
Bar Admission
Judy is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Education
Judy attended the Bucks County Community College and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in American Studies from the University of Delaware. She attended graduate school for American Studies at the College of William and Mary. While working in the museum field, Judy attended Temple University law school and served in the Temple Legal Aid Office doing a clinical in Family Law. She graduated from Temple Law School and achieved the award for achievement in Property Law. Judy was admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2004.
Volunteer and Community Work
Judy is a lifelong resident of Bucks County and is a member and ardent supporter of many non-profit organizations that preserve our region’s art, history and landscape and make our community rich. Some of her favorites are the Bucks County Historical Society, the County Theater, the Heritage Conservancy, Friends of the Peace Valley Nature Center, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
