Abington Subdivision Approved

Despite opposition from neighbors which began as a contested application before the zoning hearing board, the Board of Commissioners of Abington Township granted final subdivision approval of a residential subdivision located at Susquehanna Road and Lindsay Lane in Abington Township.

 

Marc Jonas, of the firm’s Blue Bell office, successfully represented the applicant at both the zoning hearing board hearings and before the Board of Commissioners of the Township. The approval followed successful discussions with the township commissioner in whose ward the property was located, as well as with an abutting neighbor.

 

As stated by Marc Jonas, "The property owner is looking forward to the development of this very attractive subdivision whose benefits include the mitigation of existing stormwater problems in the neighborhood."
