Jane Leopold-Leventhal and William Dudeck Successful in Superior Court

Jane Leopold Leventhal and William T. Dudeck, attorneys in the firm's civil ligation department, successfully defended an appeal before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.  The personal injury matter involved a slip and fall claim against an engineering company represented by Eastburn and Gray.

 

In trial proceedings in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, a jury awarded the plaintiff two million dollars, but unanimously found zero liability in favor of Defendant, engineering company, as to liability in plaintiff's slip and fall.  On appeal, the Superior Court affirmed the judgment upon verdict, upholding the jury verdict and the Lower Court's conclusions on evidentiary and liability issues.

 

Ms. Leopold-Leventhal is a shareholder in the firm's civil litigation group, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation matters.  Mr. Dudeck is also a shareholder in the firm's litigation group, focusing his practice on civil and criminal litigation matters.  Both trial attorneys practice in the firm's Doylestown, Bucks County office.
