Eric Tobin Elected to Board of Directors of Bucks County SPCA
On April 11, 2010, Eastburn and Gray real estate attorney Eric Tobin was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bucks County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (SPCA). The SPCA is an independent non-profit organization chartered in 1912 which operates a shelter to accept any lost, abandoned, unwanted, or displaced animal; provides public education for schools and adult groups on a variety of animal welfare related issues; and provides someone on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year to pick up injured stray animals or to assist in rescues of animals in immediate need.
Eric Tobin, a shareholder in the firm's real estate group, successfully secured approval of a land development from Richland Township for the construction of a new facility for the Bucks County SPCA. The new facility will consist of kennels for dogs, cats and other small animals and will also include a barn for larger animals. The facility will bring a much needed service to the residents of Upper Bucks County.
