Kimberly Litzke receives the Arthur B. Walsh award from the Bucks County Bar Association
At the Bucks County Bar Association's 2011 Annual Dinner, Kimberly Litzke, a family law attorney in the Firm's Doylestown office, received the Arthur B. Walsh Award recognizing her contributions to the Bucks County Protection From Abuse program. Ms. Litzke was a prior recipient of the award in 1998.
In 2011, as part of a task force put together by the President of the Bar Association, Kim coordinated with Judges, court staff and other attorneys who volunteered their time, in order to more efficiently and effectively represent all parties in Protection From Abuse Hearings.
Bucks County has a long history of providing pro bono representation for all individuals who find themselves in Court on PFA petitions, because of the difficult nature of the hearings. Through Kim's leadership, the task force was successful in implementing changes to the system.
The changes were covered by the Intelligencer Record in the following article: http://www.phillyburbs.com/news/room-to-breathe-in-family-court/article_9126eaf4-7315-5d8e-9190-3de93282eb66.html?mode=print
