Robert R. Watson, Jr. Serves as Faculty at PBI Webinar
Robert R. Watson, Jr., Esq., a Shareholder in the firm’s Construction Law practice group and a member of the firm’s management committee, served as faculty at PBI’s webinar, Pennsylvania Construction Prompt Payment Acts Update 2020 on May 20, 2020. Mr. Watson’s program was well-attended by attorneys from across the state, and covered the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act (“CASPA”), the 2018 amendments, and their impact on the progress of projects in the Commonwealth. His seminar also discussed recent revisions to the Mechanics’ Lien Law.
With nearly 20 years of experience representing clients from all aspects of the construction industry, Mr. Watson is a frequent lecturer on construction law-related topics. In 2016, he was selected to work with Pennsylvania officials to launch the Pennsylvania State Construction Notices Directory website, which provides some additional protections under the Mechanics’ Lien Law.
