Eastburn and Gray to Sponsor 2018 Bucks County Classic

The Bucks County Classic of Doylestown began in 2004 and the Thompson Organization took over the title position in 2012, added a women’s race in 2014, and gained national status in 2016 as part of the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour. Eastburn and Gray has been a proud sponsor of this event for six consecutive years.
The Bucks County Classic encircles the always-popular Doylestown Arts Festival. The race will include high-speed, action cycling which will provide an afternoon of tremendous enjoyment and an excitement-packed finish line for cycling enthusiasts and spectators. This particular race is a criterium, a style stemming from the wildly popular indoor track racing in Madison Square Garden from the 1890’s through the 1920’s. Criterium racing typically consists of 25 to 50 laps of a one-mile racecourse; this kind of racing defines America’s appreciation of professional cycling.
