Henry E. VanBlunk, Esq. Serves on PBA Commerce Court Task Force

Henry E. Van Blunk, Esq. was appointed to serve on the Commerce Court Task Force as a representative from the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (“PBA”). The Task Force was formed by the Business Law Section of the PBA in the Spring of 2020 to work on the possible development of a state-wide business or commerce court, both at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Van Blunk has been an active participant in the PBA and looks forward to taking on this expanded role.

Mr. Van Blunk is a Shareholder at Eastburn and Gray, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee, where he practices in the firm’s Business/Corporate and Litigation practice groups. He represents entrepreneurs, mature businesses and government bodies in business and corporate law, commercial litigation, banking law, labor law, real estate law, and public finance.

The PBA Section on Civil Litigation seeks to further the development of the law and procedures related to civil litigation; to stimulate and extend the study of these fields of the law; to cooperate in obtaining uniformity with respect to both legislation and administration in all matters concerning the law and procedures related to civil litigation; and to simplify and improve the application of justice in these fields of law. The PBA’s Section on Business Law includes the development and practical working of the law of this Commonwealth and of the United States, relating to banks and banking, to other business and nonprofit corporations, partnerships and associations, to the law relating to mercantile and commercial transactions, including the fields of bankruptcy, insolvency and receiverships and of business regulation law.
