John P. McShea, IV Elected Shareholder at Eastburn and Gray, P.C.
Eastburn and Gray, P.C. is pleased to announce that John P. McShea, IV has been elected a Shareholder of the firm effective January 1, 2026.
John joined Eastburn and Gray in 2021 where he practices in the areas of litigation, real estate, land use and zoning, and municipal law. He represents clients before zoning hearing boards and municipal governing bodies in land development matters, zoning appeals, applications for zoning variances, special exceptions and conditional use approvals, and substantive and procedural validity challenges. John has litigated on behalf of clients before federal courts, Pennsylvania courts of common pleas and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in land development and zoning matters, breach of contract cases, landlord-tenant disputes, violations of the real estate disclosure law, partition, and ejectment matters.
Prior to joining the firm, John was an associate in the Philadelphia office of a large, full-service law firm. During that time, he represented corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes involving a variety of policy types and coverage issues. Between 2018 and 2020, John served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James A. Gibbons of the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas.
John received his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA where he served as Research and Staff Editor of Temple International & Comparative Law Journal. John received his B.A. in History from The University of Scranton, in Scranton, PA where he was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team.
