Marc D. Jonas, Esq. Speaks at Plenary Session of the Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association

Jonas, Esq., participated in a panel discussion at the plenary session of the Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Planning Association in Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. The title of the program was “How to be an Expert Witness”. The program was designed to assist planners in preparing for expert witness testimony at municipal meetings and hearings.

Mr. Jonas has been named a Leader in Real Estate/Land Use law by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. His peers have recognized him as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer,” and he has been selected by U.S. News as a “Best Lawyer” in both Land Use and Zoning Law and Land Use and Zoning litigation for the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. He serves as solicitor to Kennett Square Borough and Narberth Borough; and as solicitor to the Zoning Hearing Boards of Towamencin, Lower Salford, and Upper Merion townships. Mr. Jonas is the solicitor of the Montgomery County Development Corporation and also chairs the Montgomery County Planning Commission.

Mr. Jonas has extensive experience in real estate, land use, municipal law, and zoning matters, representing individuals, businesses, and municipalities. He is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and has served for years as Chairman of the Montgomery Bar Association Real Estate Committee, a committee of practitioners in the areas of municipal, land use, and real estate law.
