Mark S. Cappuccio, Esq. to Speak at CRE Symposium

Mark S. Cappuccio, Esq. will serve as a speaker at The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) Symposium in Villanova on April 27, 2017. He will provide an update on assessment practices and recent court decisions. The speakers will discuss constitutional issues raised as a result of property tax appeals being filed by taxing authorities, what the counties and the courts are doing to alleviate the backlog of tax assessment cases, and what real estate professionals should be doing to help their clients deal with potentially dramatic increases in assessments and taxes.

Mr. Cappuccio is a Shareholder at Eastburn and Gray, P.C. in Pennsylvania, and is the Chair of the firm’s tax assessment appeals group. He is an experienced civil trial attorney with an extensive background in the areas of tax assessment appeals, commercial litigation, real estate, and condemnation. He has a wide breadth of industry knowledge in tax assessment matters and has litigated complex commercial and industrial appeals at all levels including local boards of assessment, and before trial and appellate courts.
