Robert R. Watson, Jr., shareholder and member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, was invited to present his “Killer Contracts” seminar to members of the Eastern PA Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Focused on those key construction contract clauses which tend to cause strife in either the negotiation, completion or payment phases of a project, Mr. Watson led a lively discussion among attendees from the subcontracting, surety and general contracting fields. In addition to sharing his own thoughts on the provisions discussed, attendees provided their perspective on negotiation and implementation of terms which commonly come into play during the course of a construction project.
