Grace M. Deon, Esq. Honored by YWCA of Bucks County
Grace M. Deon, Esq., President and CEO of Eastburn and Gray, has been recognized by the YWCA of Bucks County for her commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) in the region. The honor, part of the Salute to Women Who Make a Difference awards program, celebrates Ms. Deon’s commitment to CSR, Ms. Deon, as managing partner, advocates for the integration of social concerns into the law firm’s business operations by encouraging employee driven philanthropic initiatives that better the local community.
Ms. Deon, a resident of Northampton Township and a past President of the Bucks County Bar Association, is the first woman to lead a major law firm headquartered in Bucks County, while continuing to practice full time. An attorney with the firm for nearly three decades, she has served numerous community causes including mental health awareness and support; victims’ rights; adult literacy; empowerment of women/girls; medical related causes; charitable giving; musical education; the arts and historical preservation. Her law practice includes employment, commercial and special education litigation.
The 29th Annual Salute to Women Who Make a Difference Awards will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 6:00pm at Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, PA. The Salute to Women Who Make a Difference is a hallmark event of the YWCA that proudly honors female leaders who live and/or work in Bucks County. Each year, the YWCA Salute to Women recognizes women in Bucks County making exceptional contributions to their businesses, organizations, and their communities. Over the last 28 years, the YWCA has honored hundreds of women while raising much-needed funds to support our mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
