Eastburn and Gray is pleased to announce that The McShea Law Firm joined the firm effective August 1, 2025. The attorneys joining the firm include John P. McShea, III; Ralph J. Kelly; Conrad O. Kattner; and Donna Brennan-Scott.

All four attorneys have earned the confidence of businesses, individuals and other law firms who routinely engage in a variety of matters including: commercial litigation, employment, construction law, toxic and mass torts, professional negligence, and class action lawsuits. This team of attorneys has tried substantial cases to verdict before state and federal court juries and judges, and have argued before federal and state appellate courts. Together, they form one of the region’s most respected litigation and trial teams.
John P. McShea, III, has more than 40 years’ experience in civil litigation and in advising clients regarding strategies to avoid litigation. He has represented clients involved in a wide array of disputes, including post-employment restrictive covenants, professional liability, product liability, intellectual property, business divorces, contracts, and business torts. He has tried civil cases in state and federal courts, represented clients in commercial arbitrations, and argued appeals in both state and federal courts. John is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Ralph J. Kelly has 42 years’ experience handling a wide range of complex litigation matters from contractual disputes and business torts to professional malpractice matters and real estate related litigation and construction claims. He also has extensive experience in employment law where he regularly counsels employers and employees and litigates cases involving discrimination, disability, ERISA, noncompete, trade secret and other areas. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Kelly’s active trial practice includes both federal and state courts and various administrative and arbitration tribunals.
Conrad O. Kattner is a seasoned trial attorney. He previously served as Assistant General Counsel to Exelon Corporation and PECO Energy Company in Philadelphia, PA. He served as counsel of record in several hundred litigated matters, including trials to verdict and appeals to decision. His cases have included civil RICO, financing, fiduciary duties, electric contact, fire, gas, pole strikes, construction disputes, insurance coverage, carbon monoxide exposure, employment discrimination, indemnity issues, death, catastrophic injury, property damage, asbestos litigation, and economic loss claims.
Donna Brennan-Scott has over 20 years’ experience in handling general litigation matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in both state and federal courts. Her practice primarily focuses on the defense of asbestos litigation matters in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, including the defense of two of the largest power generation companies in the country.
