Grace M. Deon, Esq. to Speak at 2018 Exceptional Children Conference

Grace M. Deon, Esq. will speak at PBI’s 2018 Exceptional Children Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on October 8, 2018. The seminar will cover current ethics topics including conflicts, government and individual interests, and how the rules of ethics impact the special education practitioner.

Ms. Deon is a shareholder and member of Eastburn and Gray’s management committee. Her practice focuses on Employment, Commercial and Special Education litigation. She has more than 20 years of special education law experience. Much of her work consists of trying cases on behalf of school districts and employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She also has represented school districts in numerous special education due process hearings. In 2018, Ms. Deon was reappointed as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Legal Services for Exceptional Children Committee. She previously served this committee between 2008 through 2015 and acted as a Co-Chair of the Committee from 2011 through 2015. In 2015, she was the recipient of a PBA Special Achievement Award because of her dedication and commitment to planning the annual Exceptional Children Conference.
