Judith Algeo Elected Secretary of LASP
Judith A. Algeo, a Shareholder in the firm’s Family Law practice group, was recently elected Secretary of the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Southeast Pennsylvania (LASP). She has served LASP in various capacities for more than 6 years.
Ms. Algeo is an experienced Bucks County family law attorney. Prior to starting her career in the law, Judith was a family therapist in private practice. She currently represents individuals in all matters related to family law. Ms. Algeo is a past president of the Bucks County Bar Association (BCBA) and has served on its Board of Directors for several terms.
The mission of Legal Aid of Southeast Pennsylvania is to provide quality legal representation to low-income and vulnerable people in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery County, to empower them to solve problems without legal representation through legal education and increased access to the courts, and to change community practices and systems that cause or aggravate poverty.
