Marc D. Jonas, Esq. Secures Planning Commission Recommendation for Whitemarsh Property
After years of unsuccessful efforts to develop a split-zoned property on Germantown Pike in Whitemarsh Township, the property owner and developer retained Marc D. Jonas, Esq., to secure land use approvals for a development of townhouses and single family homes. Mr. Jonas, with the assistance of Michael E. Peters, Esq., first obtained approval of an amendment to the township zoning map to accommodate the proposed townhouses and then zoning hearing board approval, followed by conditional use approval from the township board of supervisors to permit the proposed townhouses. The land development process took a significant step forward last week when the township planning commission recommended that the township grant preliminary land development approval and the requested waivers.
Among his notable accomplishments, Marc Jonas was named 2017 Lawyer of the Year for Land Use and Zoning Law in the Philadelphia area, by Best Lawyers in America®.
