Robert R. Watson, Jr. Serves as Faculty at 2024 BCBA Business Law Institute
Robert R. Watson, Jr., Esq., a Shareholder in the firm’s Construction Law practice group, will serve as faculty at the 2024 Bucks County Bar Association’s Business Law Institute on May 7, 2024. The seminar will cover topics related to Pennsylvania Mechanics’ Lien Law. This is an important tool for contractors, subcontractors and suppliers who provide labor and materials on private construction projects to protect the right to payment. The program will provide a summary of steps claimants take preserve and file lien claims, as well as practical advice for owners faced with lien claims.
With nearly 25 years of experience representing clients from all aspects of the construction industry, Mr. Watson is a frequent lecturer on construction law-related topics. In 2016, he was selected to work with Pennsylvania officials to launch the Pennsylvania State Construction Notices Directory website, which provides some additional protections under the Mechanics’ Lien Law.
