Dean Malik Featured on Comcast Newsmakers

Malik_DeanDean H. Malik, Esq., an attorney with Eastburn and Gray, was recently interviewed on the Comcast television show, Comcast Newsmakers, for his leadership role in the Bucks County District Attorney’s Veterans Treatment Diversion Program. Mr. Malik, a member of Eastburn and Gray’s litigation practice group, was selected to be the Mentor Coordinator for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Veterans Treatment Diversion Program. During this interview, Mr. Malik explained how the new mentoring program is helping veterans.

The Veterans Treatment Diversion Program provides eligible military Veterans facing criminal charges with community-based support to assist them in overcoming the significant difficulties arising from their service to the country. The mission of this program is to enhance public safety and reduce recidivism of returning war veterans by connecting them with Veteran’s benefits, treatment services, and veteran support services.

Dean Malik is a major in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, having served in al Anbar Province, Iraq, and most recently on the Horn of Africa.

Comcast Newsmakers is a unique local news program that provides local, state and federal officials, and community leaders, with a platform to discuss issues and ideas important to the communities they serve, allowing them to better connect with their constituents and the community at large.
