Hugh J. Algeo IV is an attorney in the firm's Family Law and Litigation practice groups.
As a member of the firm’s Family Law practice group, he handles a wide variety of complex family law and domestic relations issues including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, protection from abuse, alimony and equitable distribution. Hugh works with clients throughout all phases of the legal process, from negotiation to trial.
Hugh is also an experienced litigator and has argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. As a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group, he litigates civil matters throughout the courts of Bucks and surrounding counties.
Hugh is a member of the Bucks County, Chester County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Hugh is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey.
Hugh received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Alvernia University. At Alvernia University, he had the honor of serving as Captain of the Men's Lacrosse team and was named most valuable player in his final two seasons. He received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University School of Law. While in law school, he was actively involved in the Drexel Law Brehon Society and volunteered his time at the Irish Immigration Center of Philadelphia’s Immigration Clinic.
Hugh frequently volunteers his time through the Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He routinely presents seminars for Second Saturday® where he speaks about the legal issues that people encounter during the process of a divorce.
