Marc D. Jonas, Esquire, Chairman of the Board of the Montgomery County Planning Commission, served as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2014 Montgomery Awards Program. The Montgomery Awards Program recognizes diverse projects in Montgomery County of notable merit and, for the first time, presented its Planning Advocate Award.
Mr. Jonas has served as a member and Chairman of the Montgomery County Planning Commission since 2013. As part of the ceremony, County Commissioner Chair, Josh Shapiro, County Commissioner Vice-Chair, Leslie Richards, and County Commissioner Bruce Castor attended and addressed the award recipients and other attending.
Mr. Jonas, co-Chair of the Land Use and Zoning practice group at Eastburn and Gray, has been named a Leader in Real Estate/Land Use law by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. His peers have recognized him as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer,” and he has been selected by U.S. News as a “Best Lawyer” in both Land Use and Zoning Law and Land Use and Zoning litigation for the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.
